There was Weezer, from the, Little Rascals. This is kind of cute, but with a little too much adult overtones. This was 1933 and the world was so different, in the way they thought. Today so many more kids are victimized, especially in Hollywood and in their homes. Sad

the world was NOT different back then. shirley temples career when she first started out was critiqued by various reporters. the common notion being that her parents were essentially profiting off of pedophiles being attracted to her. people were monsters back then and now.

This is weird to me!
There are eight or nine in total.
I’m sure this music is more correct, but over twenty years ago I used a camcorder to copy old 8 mm film my parents had taken and this short was also in the box. I just added 2 cd’s I had handy to have something to listen to while watching the “new” copy’s. Anyway, this short film ended up having Luther Vandross’ song Superstar/Until you come back to me.. And now it will always be what plays in my head if I see this old film.
I love Shirley Temple but don’t really care for these baby burlesque films.

Nowadays, these films should be banned as obscene. This is the sexualization of children... they are posing as adults... no not in a sexual way... just every other way. I used to think it was cute. Now, I would rather have adults dressed as children doing similar things. Am I wrong?

I don't think they meant anything by them, and really thought they were funny. Back then I don't think they acknowledged the undesirables in the world.

Good, but you know something is wrong when adults make toddlers act like adults, you are justo watching a baby acting like a cabaret dancer/ highly sexualized woman. If a pedo gets excited with only a normal photograph of a normal kid, then what he would think or do with films like these?
@@noeliamedina3064 I guess because I work with preschoolers and have to be trained on sexual harassment for the kids, I couldn’t enjoy it even though it is cute.
Those trainings bring me to tears to be quite honest. The statistics are wild. This video is not going to help, if anything it will put it more in people’s minds. 😳
I have to say, this is a lot better than the “War Babies”, but still unhealthy imagery. At the end of the day, this is going to attract the wrong kind of crowd.
